So, I've had some lame-ass FreeCycle experiences, but the Ovation Deep-Bowl guitar with on-board electronics I just got is definitely not lame ass. Well, OK, it was pretty busted up--the neck was broken off, and there were several loose struts. A little wood glue, some super-glue gel, and improvised hide glue made from Knox unflavored gelatin, and everything's sweet. I plugged it into the amp I got from FreeCycle and rocked out--Free Bird sounds quite excellent on an amplified acoustic.  link | 0 comments
